A Cozy Haven for Couples!

We enjoyed a lovely night in a peaceful double room. The ambiance was relaxing, but the coffee sachets could use an upgrade. positioning the TV better would enhance the experience. A delightful stay overall!

The accommodations were expertly decorated and cozy, offering easy access for seniors, which made our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. The separate entrance was a blessing, allowing us to come and go without any fuss.

Just a fitting option for a brief stop-in in Atherstone with outstanding value for money. The staff was extremely helpful regarding parking concerns. It's best to arrive early since the area can get sketchy at night.

The hot water took a while, yet the room was very spacious.

The double room was super comfortable with a private bathroom and a powerful shower. The location is perfect, just a short walk from shops like Aldi and Tesco. We had WiFi sorted out thanks to the bar staff, which was helpful. Really friendly atmosphere, and they gave us a lift to the wedding when taxis didn’t show up!

the wheatsheaf is a friendly pub with a great location, just a short walk to the center. our double room was very cozy, and we loved the comfortable bed. the shower was super efficient, and when we had a little trouble with the wi-fi, the staff quickly helped us sort it out. this is our second stay here, and we'll definitely return!

Parking is a bit of a challenge. despite a note about availability, there’s no on-site parking and you have to rely on nearby options, though not too far away. The pub exterior has a scruffy vibe, which doesn't match the quite decent rooms inside. If you value peace, consider that some rooms sit right above the bar, where noise could be a bother, especially when hoping for a quiet night’s rest. don’t expect breakfast with your stay, as that’ll cost extra, which feels a bit off for the price paid.

The Wheatsheaf served up a delicious Manchego ratatouille that was the star of the meal! Plus, the friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the central location was spot on for exploring Atherstone.

Ah, but the karaoke from the pub was a laugh! Heard every lyric and drunken chat, so I couldn't leave the window open—my mum wasn’t thrilled for her birthday gift either. Room could've used a good hoovering, too.

The location was great, just a short walk to nearby eateries. The staff provided a wonderful welcome and were very helpful throughout our stay. it was an excellent experience.

I was really impressed with the huge walk-in shower and the comfortable super king bed. Plus, the fluffy towels were a nice touch!
